Great Question! Are you building a new home and looking for a Designer to be a part of the entire building process with you, from space planning all the way to furnishing and styling? Then FSD is the way to go. We work with you and your Architect/Builder on coming up with the perfect floor plan, incorporating desired architectural details, designing cabinetry and built-ins, selecting all hard finishes such as exterior facade materials, millwork, flooring, plumbing fixtures, countertops, lighting, paint colors, and so on. We also then work with you on a furniture and decor plan for the entire home, and take care of all the ordering and installation for you as well. If you have a new or existing home and are looking for a more budget-friendly, do-it-yourself service on a per-room-basis, then virtual design is the best fit. This service is suited for the client that has ideas of what they love but are in need of help with visualizing, scaling, sourcing and providing them with everything needed to order + place furniture/decor on their own.
Once you submit your FSD questionnaire, we reach out to set up a consult with you so that we can discuss your project in full detail. From there, we provide you with a design proposal, inclusive of a bid for the scope of your project, and a retainer deposit which is required to get started!

Actually, in this case we consider each "area" within that open space to be its own. Because we would be creating 3 separate storyboards for you in this case (while making sure they all flow together and stay cohesive), we would provide you with 3 separate fees on your quote. We also ask that when submitting you're virtual design questionnaire, you answer the questions for EACH of these spaces individually within the answer boxes.
Our virtual design service would cover this as well! This is why we prefer to get answers to questions before providing you with your custom quote, as no two projects are exactly alike. For example, designing a room with new built-ins, a fireplace surround, window treatments, furniture, decor and accessories would be of a higher cost than providing a client with a design inclusive of a rug, artwork and accessories for an already furnished space.
